Karanovo

This Thracian Tomb is located at the edge of the Surnena Forest, in the northwest part of the village Karanovo, roughly 10 km from the city of Nova Zagora. It occupies an area of 24 hectares. The tomb, which was discovered during excavations during the 1950s, is one of the oldest in Europe.

Ovcharitsa dam is located 50 km southeast of Stara Zagora, in the close proximity of TPP „Maritsa East 2" . The dam is divided into two parts - hot and cold, which are not separated from each other and that's why there is fish swimming everywhere.

Jrebchevo a dam on the river Tunja, the third largest dam in Bulgaria after Iskar and Studeni kladenets. Located in a beautiful submontane area, near the villages of Banya and Asenovets and named after the village of Jrebchevo (Atlari) , which submerged in 1965.

Futula cave is a real freak of the nature.Situated under the sparkling waters of the homonymous waterfall of Ravna River, west of Malka Chatalka peak. Its form is elongatedly dome-shaped measuring 3 / 3 m and its height - about 4 m. It has a wide hole facing east. Due to the water's contact with carbonate rocks calcareous sedimentations and formations have been moulded on the walls and on the ceiling
